I learned this song from listening to Mississippi John Hurt. Jeremiah Lockwood, is a brilliant composer and artist in his own right, but in addition to playing his own music so beautifully, I’ve never heard anyone of my generation play more convincingly, spot-on, in the style of blues masters like Mississippi John Hurt, Fred McDowell, and Robert Johnson. It’s really been a joy, and I’ve learned a lot just by playing with him.
